Become a Leadership Fellow
The College of Healthcare Leadership Fellowship is an award, made by an independent panel, that certifies an individual as a healthcare leader of competence and experience, showing adherence to our Leadership and management standards.
The awardee is entitled to use post-nominals that vary depending on the level of Fellowship attained.
Fellowship Awards
For: Healthcare students at all stages in their career who can demonstrate that they have shown leadership comptenence above the expected scope of their stage.
Associate Members are entitled to use the post-nominals ACHL.
Associate Membership applications are considered on a rolling basis, and candidates can apply by completing our fellowship application form. If succesful, there is a annual fee of £75 to be retained in our community.
For: Healthcare professionals and students who can show a demonstrated and sustained impact, usually over a period of time. Those who complete our Postgraduate Diploma in Healthcare Leadership, are entitled to apply for Fellowship.
Fellows are entitled to use the post-nominals FCHL.
There is an annual fee of £350.
For: Seasoned leaders, usually with at least two years of demonstrated board-level experience. Examples might include medical directors, ICB or neighbourhood locality chair, postgraduate deans etc.
These individuals would have made a significant contribution to leadership and management in the health sector and will be able to demonstrate competence in all domains of our Leadership and management standards.
Senior Fellows are entitled to use the post-nominals SFCHL.
There is an annual fee of £350.
